Practice Education Base
Sounds of reading spread, and coffee gives out aroma everywhere. The “Soloist Café” is located in the corner of the Lobby of the Shuyin Building in DUFE, which is a student self-operated coffee bar. As DUFE Business Professionals Practice Education Base, the Soloist Café has been successfully run for two consecutive years. Here students combine wisdom and dreams in practice, and pass on IBC culture with a stress on “Solid Foundation of Diligence and Integrity and Unique Feature of Innovation and Originality” from generation to generation.
The DUFE Business Professionals Practice Education Base is an external practice education base for students in Liaoning Province. On the basis of open environment, international faculty and other advantageous resources of DUFE under the guidelines of “high standard and internationalization”, under the principle of contribution to local economic construction and contribution to Chinese and the global economic development, IBC actively creates a high-end and world-class business professionals cultivation and young entrepreneur incubator platform, better fulfills historical mission of higher education institutions serving the society, and propels the mutual integration of local economy and the world economy.
The Competitive Bid for Soloist Café is held once a year and consists of a preliminary and final bid. The championship team will be endowed with the right to operate and support the free startup funds donated by the alumni. The Operation team of the Soloist Café should insist on IBC Coffee Culture of “Health, Vitality, Innovation, Diversity and Fashion”. The Soloist Café is mainly engaged in selling beverages, drinks(beverages & drinks are the same thing), cold meals, desserts, snacks, postcards and so on.
In order to help students better carry out innovative practice, IBC set up the DUFE Business Professionals Practice Education Base Management Committee composed of college teachers and external mentors. This Management Committee is responsible for hosting the Competitive Bid for the Soloist Café, supervising related work assignments of operation team, supervising sanitation conditions of the Soloist Café, convening meetings of the Management Committee Members, and providing relevant evaluation and guidance for financial reports and operating reports submitted by the operation team on a regular basis.
The Soloist Café sincerely welcomes every guest to enjoy the drinks personally made by students, and put forward valuable comments and suggestions.
