Language Support Centre
IBC started a language support center 6 years ago because students were always asking for extra help with their English speaking and writing assignments. The center has been a huge success as the overwhelming majority of students like the services and tutors that help them. In fact, the only complaint we receive on a regular basis is that we don’t offer enough time slots for students to sign up.
What do we do?
We offer students a range of help in writing assignments like essays, research projects and …. And speaking assignments like class presentations, speech contests, etc. We also help students with writing resumes, cover letters, personal statements along with IELTS writing and speaking．Students sign up for a 20 minute time slot for speaking & a 30 minute time slot for writing. Tutors are ESL faculty who are contracted to tutor in the center 2 hours a week. There is plenty need for additional hours, so tutors are welcome to work more than 2 hours a week with additional pay.
