In order to implement the main spirit of the Ministry of Education’s “Higher Education Special Plan” and “Several Opinions on Comprehensively Improving the Quality of Higher Education”, deepen the reform of undergraduate education and teaching, enhance students’ innovative spirit and scientific research ability, and further strengthen the discipline construction and scientific research of our college Team building, our college held the “Undergraduate Research Assistant Selection” activity to provide undergraduates with certain scientific research capabilities and passion for scientific research with practical opportunities to participate in scientific research projects, stimulate students’ interest in scientific research, and form a talent training for interactive teaching and scientific research. The new model will comprehensively improve the comprehensive quality and scientific research and innovation capabilities of undergraduates, while optimizing the structure of our research team and improving the efficiency of scientific research.
The undergraduate scientific research assistant system adopts a project-driven operation mode. Teachers apply for research topic selection. After approval by the college, the candidates for undergraduate scientific research assistants are determined through two-way selection between teachers and students. A total of 113 people signed up for this event, which shows that the students have great enthusiasm for this event, and the scientific research itself has also received more attention from students.
